The experimentation at San Pietro in Vincoli

 

In December 2012 SPinV tested the first release of its indoor navigation and information platform, providing information on events taking place at the premises of the Faculty of Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome in the monumental complex of San Pietro in Vincoli. Permanent installation at SPinV Head Quarters

A new version of the SPinV navigation and information platform is currently being deployed at the company HQs, hosted by the Department of Information Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications of Sapienza University of Rome. The testbed currently covers the 2nd floor of the Department; the extension of the coverage to floors 1, 2 and 4 is ongoing. The installation will allow to test and refine the solutions developed by SPinV as well as provide a show case of the SPinV products to interested customers. Read more…
