The course of UWB Radio Fundamentals consists of a 6 credits unit. The aim is to provide advanced knowledge on the UWB wireless communication technology, and its application to the design of advanced wireless systems. The course covers key aspects of UWB systems, ranging from theoretic foundations to application examples. In particular, the following topics will be analyzed:

Course material

Examination Procedure

Students are required to attend both theory and practice classes. The work carried out by students during the practices (and also independently as homeworks) will be considered as part of the final exam.
Students attending the classes will be required, at the end of the course, to conclude the exam with an oral presentation, in which they will discuss a topic from the course, selected and assigned by the instructorts few days before the exam day. On the contrary, students do not attending the classes will be required to have preliminar written part of the exam, in order to access to the oral presentation.
