Welcome to the WAN4RP project!

Wireless Access Networks for Raspberry Pi (WAN4RP) is an academic project carried out within the course of Wireless Access offered as part of the Masters Degree in Telecommunications Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. (By the way, if you want to come and study at Sapienza University of Rome , read here!)

The project is supported by Mathworks with a grant provided in the framework of its Academic Support program for Curriculum Development.

The goal of the project is to create a library of MatLab code as well as Simulink  and Stateflow blocks to support the implementation of algorithms and protocols for wireless access networks formed by Raspberry Pi boards equipped with a RFM73P wireless transceiver.

The project involves the students of of the Wireless Access course, that will be organized in teams  competing in the implementation of wireless access protocols. The best projects will be made available in a dedicated page on this website.
